In this article it is described the dynamics of the vegetative cover of the Interfluve Nistru-Prut according to climate evolution. The investigation is based on the analysis of the palynologic samples from the layers of the Holocene Age in the Interfluve Nistru-Prut. According to the dynamics of the vegetative cover and climate evolution of the investigated area it is noticed the extension of the forest-steppe landscape in the periods of cooling and mitigating of climate humidity, and the extension of the areas of xerophytic steppe landscape in the periods of climatic warming up and dryness.

În lucrare se prezintă evoluţia învelişului vegetal în decursul Holocenului din cadrul interfluviului Nistru-Prut aflat sub impactul fluctuaţiilor climatice. Studiul este bazat pe analiza materialelor palinologice din depozite de vârstă holocenă din zona de cercetare. În fazele de evoluţie catatermă a climatului (de răcire şi ameliorare a umidităţii) se atestă extinderea peisajului de silvostepă cu revenirea pădurii. În etapele de evoluţie anatermă a climatului (încălzire şi aridizare moderată) se înregistrează extinderea peisajului fitogeografic de stepă.
