Rezumat

Hydrogeological cross-section of the Rep. of Moldova contains confined and unconfined ground water. Unconfined aquifers are divided in leaching and continental saline water. Influence of ascending deep water is minimized by geochemical evaporation barrier. Chemistry of confined aquifer is under the influence of tectonic faults (water with high values of К , Mg2 , HCO3-, Cl-, F -, pH, Ва, TDS and organic substances) and geochemistry of stable blocks (water have elevated values of Са, Mg, SO4, Sr, Se). Helium (He) is a good tracer of open tectonic zones.
