Rezumat | ||||||
The spread of the new coronavirus has become an issue of global size, to which states and international organizations try to respond with similar tools, but in a little coordination. This global challenge overlaps others global problems which already seem to no longer support postponement: economic and social imbalance, environmental damage, respect of democratic rules and universal set of human rights. Between them, disinformation through the media (the "fake-news" phenomenon) has a rich tradition already, and it is a concern all over the world - both in terms of preventing and combating it. The emergence and global spread of COVID-19 has created the context for the quantitative and qualitative growth of the phenomenon and imposed a new urgency on the agenda of states, international organizations, media organizations, civil society and academia. |
