Since the COVID-19 pandemic has changed the security agenda, as a priority for national and international policy has been discussed its implications. These can be viewded, at least, from two perspectives: some start from the fact that pandemics are no longer "a cold" and, after a limited period of a few months or a maximum of two years, the world will return to "normality", especially if vaccination is available worldwide. Others believe that we are facing a paradigm shift and the world will enter a "new era". Therefore, in this article, a general analysis of the impact of the pandemic on the security and the main challenges posed by the COVID-19 crisis including the implications of this crisis as an "agent of change" is carried out. Secondly, there are growing social, political, psychological and even economic implications in the context of spreading false news about the COVID-19 crisis. In conclusion, the need to ensure strategic communication is highlighted, especially since it is a crisis situation, and false news explores the vulnerable media space in this context. |
