Rezumat

The article examines some issues regarding the establishment, functionality and sustainability of the eleventh governing coalition in the recent political history of the Republic of Moldova. It is shown that the governing alliance between the Socialist Party and the political bloc „ACUM” performed on the basis of two political understandings (one was temporary and the second - permanent), these having as substrate the political reason and substantial procedural consensus. It is concluded that the balance in the governing coalition could have been sustainable if the alliance partners had made full use of democratic cooperation mechanisms and procedures, such as reasonable mutual compromise and substantial value consensus, this being the only chance for further democracy development in the Republic of Moldova.
