Climate change makes it necessary to create genotypes of plants that will be able to provide high yields under the new pedoclimatic conditions. Even if the existing interspecific genotypes have many possible uses, thay may not be able to withstand climate change. The analysis of the photosynthesis-irradiance curve allows understanding the ecophysiological traits of a species. Besides, different genotypes of plants grown under more or less similar conditions can be compared, thus determining the potential productivity and resistance to environmental factors. Global warming will increase the frequency of days with extremely high temperatures, which can directly affect the quality and productivity of various crops and, in the case of failure to take adaptation measures, sociery will have to face great difficulties. The goal of this study has been to evaluate the parameters of the photosynthesis-irradiance curve of the intraspecific and inter-specific genotypes of grapevine to determine their productivity and resistance to biotic and abiotic factors. Determining the dependence of photosynthesis on solar irradiance has allowed evaluating the efficiency of the use of light energy by the genotypes of grapevine. Thus, it has been found that the interspecific genotypes of grapevine (Vitis vinifera L. x Muscadinia rotundifolia Michx.) show higher adaptability to climate factors and have higher productivity than the intraspecific genotypes of grapevine. |
