Rezumat

The article examines the dynamic changes in the number and composition of economic entities engaged in temporary accommodation and catering; the indicators of the volume of produced and sold products are analyzed, the volume of sold products in terms of consumer categories is revealed; the share of employees in this area is highlighted and their dynamics and share in the total number of economic entities of the country are revealed. Problems on the development of hotel and restaurant services in Ukraine are highlighted and ways to solve them are suggested.
