The article is devoted to the problem of Proto-Bulgar -Slavic relations in the seventh-eighth century AD in the area of the Lower Danube. The thesis is substantiated, according to which close ties passing in the military-political alliance were established between the group of “Asparuhov’s Protobulgar” and the Slavs-Severians on the Middle Dnieper before the joint departure to the Danube Delta. The victory of the Bulgarians in the battle of Ongle against the troops of Emperor Konstantin Pogonat is explained by the decisive participation of the Slavs on foot and skillful tactics. The thesis on a special invitation to Asparuh from the princes of the Danube “Seven Tribes” is put forward.

Статья посвящена проблеме праболгарско-славянских отношений в седмом-восмом веке н.е. в ареале Нижнего Дуная. Обосновывается тезис, согласно которого близкие связи, переходящих в военно-политическом союзе, установились между группа „Аспаруховых праболгар“ и славян-северян еще на Среднем Днепре до совместного ухода к делте Дуная. Победа болгар в битве на Онгл против войска императора Константина Погоната объясняется решительным участием пешых славян и умелой тактикой. Выдвигается тезис о специальном приглашением к Аспаруху со стороны князей дунайских „Семь племен“.
