Describing the Balkan period in the history of the Gagauz, D. Tanasoglu is trying to highlight the most significant events and stages of adaptation of the ancestors of the Gagauz and the Gagauz themselves in the Balkans. The writer shows how the ancestors of the Gagauz people adopted the new faith, created their own state, contacted with their neighbors, performed customs and rituals. Basically, most of the events of that period are a fiction author. Such myths include the existence of a state in the Gagauz called Uzi, a description of some customs, etc.
