At the same time there are enhanced economic links of the Danubian principalities with Transyl- vania, preparing conditions for completing the unification of the entire national market training of the Romanian territory inhabited by Romanian people. If some goods passed from one principality to another and then were exported after the borders of the principalities, the export tax was paid to the government of the country through which the border was crossed and all customs revenues collected by the two countries were to be pooled together and assigned one third of Moldova, two thirds of Wal- lachia. That period of time kept the system border lease. However, the Convention between Moldova and Wallachia provided that the customs of Moldavia and Wallachia would be leased by tender for a period equal to the two countries.
