This paper refers to the prose of the Republic of Moldova where the postcommunist period is reflected, in the foreground being the individual with his problems and anxieties. Most of the prose has more cognitive than artistic value. They should be perceived as historical documents, as well as anthropological studies, since they contribute to the knowledge of the individual in the post-communist period and his existential problems.

Prezentulstudiu se referă la proza din Republica Moldova în care estereflec tatăperioadapostcomunistă, în prim-plan aflându-se individul cu problemeleșiangoasele sale. Majoritatea acestor proze au mai mult o valoare cognitivă decât artistică, motiv pentru care trebuie percepute ca documente istorice, dar și ca adevărate studii de antropologie, întrucât contribuie deopotrivă la cunoașterea individului din perioada postcomunistă și a problemelor sale existențiale.
