Rezumat

Bulgaria is among the first countries in Europe, which in 1999 accepted a Strategy and National Pro- gram for Information Society Development, updated in 2002 in accordance with the eEurope Action Plan of the candidate countries for EU membership. The main goal of eGovernment is to improve work efficiency and quality of services provided by the executive, judicial and legislative powers. In Bulgaria, the creation of e-government is one of the most significant projects in the field of information technology for the past 10 years. However, it is still in development, mainly talking about e-government and less working for its realization, despite the huge funds spent in the recent years for its implementation. Since the adoption of the Act for e-government in 2008, so far no other law is synchronized with it.
