Through this study we tend that, based on the investigation of historical documents, legislative acts and accessible works of previous authors, to reflect the historical process of elaboration by ancient thinkers of the general principles of the doctrine of natural law, their development by personalities. philosophy of law in European states in the sixteenth and nineteenth centuries, their spread in Moldova through philosophical and political and legal literature. Special attention is paid to the reception of ideas of the doctrine of natural law by thinkers in the Principality and their reflection in their own works. The study also examines the procedures that were used to block promotion by researchers, teachers, writers, etc. of the conceptions of the doctrine of natural law both by the Russian tsarism in Bessarabia of the years 18121917, and by the totalitarian Soviet regime in the Moldavian RASS (1924-1940) and in the Moldavian SSR (1940-1990).

Prin studiul de față noi tindem ca, în baza investigării documentelor istorice, a unor acte legislative și a lucrărilor accesibile ale autorilor precedenți, să reflectăm procesul istoric de elaborare de către cugetătorii antici a principiilor generale ale doctrinei dreptului natural, a dezvoltării acestora de către personalitățile filosofiei dreptului din statele europene în secolele XVI-XIX, a răspândirii lor în Țara Moldovei prin intermediul literaturii filozofice și politicojuridice. O atenție specială este acordată receptării ideilor doctrinei dreptului natural de către gânditorii din Principat și reflectarea lor în lucrările proprii. În studiu de asemenea sunt examinate procedeele care au fost utilizate pentru a bloca promovarea de către cercetători, profesori, scriitori etc. a concepțiilor doctrinei dreptului natural atât de către țarismul rus în Basarabia anilor 1812-1917, cât și de regimul totalitar sovietic în RASS Moldovenească (1924-1940) și în RSS Moldovenească (1940-1990).
