This report presents the features of the radiodiagnostic service of the public medical institutions of the Health Ministry of the Republic of Moldova for the period between 2007 and 2011 years, as well as the perspective measures of improvement for the near future. In spite of facts like: the large number of physically and morally depreciated equipment used by this service (their weight being 83.2% out of the total number of equipment used), decrease in staff and number of radio-diagnostic consulting rooms, the basic operative indicators of radiodiagnostic services are permanently increasing, with the exception of computer magnetic resonance tomography. Among the directions for the optimization of the function of radio-diagnostic service are actions like replacing all morally and physically depreciated equipment with digital equipment, a larger application of non-radiation methods of examination (echography, thermography, and magnetic resonance tomography), increase of the training of specialists for working with new equipment etc |
