The article is dedicated to the 85 anniversary of Nicolae Testemitanu – favorit scientist, teacher and organizator of Public Health. All his short life (59 years) was dedicated to improving the prosperity of Moldavian people, particularly – to the organization of qualifi ed health care for people, especially – to agrarian workers. He took part in the process of medical workers’ education and in medical science development. His scientific ideas are reflected in the organization of health care for agrarian people not only in the former Soviet Union, but also in such countries as Bolgaria, Poland, Chech Republic, Eastern Germany. By his name are called streets, schools and Moldavian State University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Chisinau. |

Вся непродолжителъная (всего 59 лет) жизнь Николая Тестемицану посвещена улучшению благосостояния молдaвского народа, в частности организации качественной медицинской помощи народу страны и особенно сельскому населению. Он оставил глубокий след в подготовке медицинских кадров, в развитии науки. Его научные предложения воплощались в организации медицинской помощи сельскому населению не толъко в бывшем Советском Союзе, но и в таких странах как Болгария, Полъша, Чехословакия, Германия (ГДР).
