Rezumat

The professionalization of the teachers in the age of digitalization and
technology becomes an imperative necessary to carry out an educational activity
focused on quality and success. Due to this fact, the teaching profession is still building
early, from the academic field that the student follows. The well-informed and trained
student who wants a career in the field of education must take into account the need for
continuous training throughout his teaching career because the education professionals
are constantly and permanently improving, regardless of the stage of work they are in.
The quality of education involves „the problem of ensuring and maintaining the quality
of educational services, which is a particularly important one, with an immediate,
but also long-term impact on their direct beneficiaries - the students, as well as on the
indirect beneficiaries - the community, the society in general” ( S, tef˘anescu, C., 2009,
p.17).
The need for a professionalization in the field of education derives from the need
for a qualitative education aimed at developing the human personality according to
the current and future demands of society. Therefore, the innovative tendencies in the
field of education must also be materialized through the professional development of
the teachers from the educational field.
