Rezumat

Bacillus amyloliquefaciens subsp. plantarum strain IMV B-7404, which considered as perspective agent of biological control, was subjected to a pot test to investigate its ability to suppress Fusarium seedling blight of wheat. The disease was significantly inhibited by seed treatment with washed bacterial cells. Application of liquid culture of B-7404 did not inhibit symptom development, however, resulted in growth promotion effect.
