основе как перцептивных, так и когнитивных процессов [Friston, 2010;Bubice.a., 2010;DeRiddere.a., 2014;
O'Callaghan, 2016]. [Lee, Mumford,
[Arnal,Giraud, 2012; Wacongnee.a., 2012; SanMiguele.a.,2013;Мачинская и др.,2015].
[Kiebele.a., 2009; Fristone.a., 2012;Koster-Hale,Saxe, 2013; Clairee.a., 2016; Kwisthoute.a., 2017].

Foresight (prediction) is one of the fundamental mechanisms of the brain underlying both perceptual and
cognitive processes [Friston, 2010; Bubice.a., 2010; DeRiddere.a., 2014; O'Callaghan, 2016]. In the framework of
hierarchical models of predictive coding [Lee, Mumford, 2003, Friston, 2005], the notion that the processes of
perception, cognition, planning, realization of actions and a number of others [Clark, 2013a, Hohwy, 2013] are
inextricably linked to this mechanism. The brain actively processes only that part of the input information that is
new, and reacts, using available patterns, to the predicted stimulus before information about it reaches it [Arnal,
Giraud, 2012; Wacongnee.a., 2012; SanMiguele.a., 2013; Machinskaya et al., 2015]. It is believed that the brain
structures work at the same time by maximizing the Bayesian proof of the actual world model through active
selection of information (ie, based on the implementation of the processes from the top down) [Kiebele.a., 2009;
Fristone.a., 2012; Koster-Hale, Saxe, 2013; Clairee.a., 2016; Kwisthoute.a., 2017].
The above representations are based primarily on the organization of brain neural processes in those cases
when the hint for the forecast exists in explicit form, that is, the researcher knows (in particular from the instruction)
that a certain stimulus precedes the appearance of a target stimulus (the Poner paradigm). The organization of the
brain's nervous processes in a situation where the formation of a forecast is a consequence of comprehension of
certain regularities in a series of events, that is, requires cognitive efforts, when an active functioning of the
forecasting mechanism, which is inextricably linked with the perception processes, studied.
In experiments with the registration of event-related potentials (ERPs), the spatial-temporal organization of
activity of various brain structures in the dynamics of activity associated with predicting a time series of events
(stimuli) was investigated. In accordance with the instructions, the subject had to respond by clicking on the
computer mouse button, either when a control stimulus appeared, or in the event that they were to have the next
stimulus. The control stimulus was preceded by a prognostic prompt (PP), which is a logically constructed set of
stimuli.
An analysis of the characteristics of the components of event-related potentials indicates that the
effectiveness of predictive activity is determined by the ability to use a broad context as a sensory information
processing strategy. The role of the regulator providing an estimation of the parameters of the input signal is played
by subjective confidence in its correspondence to the actual model, which is also the basis for implementing logical
conclusions [Browne.a., 2011] and selecting the actual set [Fristone.a., 2012]. The correspondence of the
parameters of the input signals with the expected (predicted) translates them into the category of predictors
(forerunners) of the control event and leads to a sharp increase in the subjective probability of occurrence of the
expected event, the achievement of a critical level by which one can make a confident prognosis.
