Soils, land secular traditions processing and access to markets are the main opportunities offered by the Republic of Moldova, but restructuring and agriculture near European countries occurs slowly without visible consequences in terms of structural and functional compatibility agri-food system. Without question that our main effort should be directed towards the recovery of agriculture and increase the living standards of people living in rural areas. It is necessary that huge opportunities for growth of agriculture and rural areas to be reviewed and used both by adequate investment and the development or updating of integrated rural development strategies. Agriculture remains one of the most important sectors with growth potential and an unjustly neglected sectors.
