Moldova enjoying all the natural conditions for intensive development of horticulture. This branch, since since ancient times, it seems that it remains one of the pillars of national agriculture as a source of wealth, contributing to the efficiency of the entire country's agricultural sector. Moldova being a country with very favorable climatic conditions and fertile soils – factors that represent a enormous opportunity for the agricultural sector of the national economy, has the opportunity to get some high quality yields with intensive application of various plant protection products and fertilizers or their application, but respecting the requirements of international quality standards. Thus, Moldova is oriented by agricultural export of products, especially by fruits and vegetables. These and other requirements force us to bring to the attention of farmers the necessary information to apply universal rules to increase fresh fruit and vegetables to extend export markets, using Global GAP standard and other international standards. |
