This article pays a special attention to the semiotic research perspectives of the G Vieru writings, from Coseriu concept of "textual linguistic". Developing some theoretical notions of general semiotics on the binomial Saussurian sign of signified and signifier was intended to define the message and to decode the signs-symbols in the creation of Gr. Vieru. The poet used the symbol as a convention for creation and as a key image for its construction. The traditional symbol acquires new interpretations, connotations of the most diverse and unexpected one. The semiotic of Gr. Vieru writings contains symbols-emblem for Bessarabian culture, and also for universal creation. The most important symbol is that of the mother, which represents, protection, continuity, support and strength. The mother is the universal symbol, being the homeland protection, the longing, the freedom, and even the symbol of the word. Therefore, the language of Gr. Vieru creation is the creation of content and expression at the same time.
