Rezumat | ||||||
Adoption is the final form of placement, which, by the complexity of the involved issues, implies much responsibility and dedication of the entire team of specialists. The psychologist job focused on the relationship with the child given for adoption implies a great responsibility identifying precisely the child needs. The child’s welfare and protection depend very much of the efficient usage of the available resources and of the positive resolution of any conflict of interests. Thus, psychologists and all other professionals, who participate at the first meeting with the potential parents, are responsible for the successful ending of this action. This first contact should be natural, comfortable, and the discussion should have an open, friendly character – from soul to soul. |
