Rezumat

In psychology, the leading role of an adult in the communication and mental development of a child is emphasized. Child-parent relations are one of the main factors in the formation of the teenager's self-image. Under the influence of the external assessment of adults, a person growing up forms ideas about themselves (“I-image”), self esteem, self-attitude, as well as self-awareness in general. Therefore, the identification and description of the psychological characteristics of the influence of parent-child relationships on the teenager’s assessment of his qualities remains relevant. Relationships in the family also affect his relationships in the future family. The peculiarity of relationships and communication in the family creates a psychological atmosphere that determines the educational opportunities of the family.
