Rezumat

The self-polinated lines of sweet corn on basis of varios gens have been created: normal sweet (gene su2), semi-super sweet (gene se) and super sweet (gene sh2). On basis of this lines new hybrids of sweet corn was obtained. The hybrids of sweet corn were studied according to the content of the main carbohydrate components of the grain: total sugar, starch and dextrins. Are defined hybrid combinations combining high contents of sugar and dextrins, and low starch. A tasting assessment of the freshly cooked ears on the four indicators determining the quality of the grain was made: appearance, grain color, consistency and taste.
