The article discusses several issues related both to the study of the Romanian language in post-communism and to its functioning in this period: Moldovan-Romanian linguistic identity, language functions, the role of the mentality, using the communist double speak patterns, etc.

În articol se iau în discuție doar unele chestiuni legate atât de studiul limbii române în postcomunism, cât și de funcționarea ei în această perioadă: identitatea lingvală moldo-română, funcțiile limbii, rolul mentalității, valorificarea tiparelor limbii de lemn comuniste etc.
