The mythological approach of the novel „Viaţa şi moartea neferictului Filimon…‖ by Vladimir Beşleagă opens the access to its epistemological and ontological views. Myths and archetypes are used not only as narrative matrices but also in the construction of characters, in the existential relationships between them, reflecting the ontological essence of modern man through myths. The author trains mythical thinking in shaping the artistic world and mythologizes the existential conceptions that constitute the axis of the novel. The system of concepts highlighted by mythological schemes and archetypes integrates the sphere of individual, ethnic, social identity reflected in the image of the world and the destiny of Filimon. |
