The paper presents an analytical overview of the Aarhus Convention legal framework, applied by legitimate NGOs advocating for environmental rights. The correlation of the concept of “public concerned” and “environmental NGO” is described. The author provides relevant court cases from Moldova and Ukraine. The research comes to a conclusion of undisputable applicability of the Convention for environmental NGOs filing lawsuits in Moldova and Ukraine. |
