In language teaching, the competence of intercultural communication is increasingly becoming a skill that needs to be developed at the same level as written and oral comprehension and expression skills. This competence is also increasingly placed at the center of language teaching methods and manuals. Today, the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in everyday life has become widespread. Its use as a pedagogical tool is increasingly stimulated by educational policies, as well as in language teaching. In this context, this article aims to provide in a first part some knowledge on the development of intercultural competences in language textbooks, taking as an example the textbooks of FLE, secondly, the article aims to study how digital develop the intercultural communication capacity by also providing a practical study started with the students of the Department of French Language of the University of Tirana. The methodology used to carry out this study will firstly be based on an analysis of the French language method used by the French Language Department and, information on the integration of ICT in the educational programs in order to contribute the development of intercultural elements in the teaching / learning of foreign languages.
