Rezumat

Agrochemical characterization is important for estimating the quality of production in the region and taking fertilization measures. Three wine grape varieties were taken into study: Fetească Regală 21 Bl and Muscat Ottonel 12 Bl (brown eumezobazic/eutricambisol soil) and Sauvignon Blanc 9 Bl (colluvisol/alluvisol soil) from Crăciunelu de Jos Wine Centre, situated in the Târnave Region. Soil samples were collected for each variety at three different depths (0-20 cm, 2040 cm and 40-60 cm) in two consecutive years (2017-2018) and analysed. It is noteworthy that in colluvisol the humidity is relatively constant in depth, in direct relation to the texture of this soil on the depths. At eutricambisol, humidity decreases with increasing depth, and due to the prolonged drought in the spring of 2018. The brown eumezobazic/eutricambisol soil in the experimental lot has a neutral pH, low humus and low total nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. The colluvisol/alluvisol soil in the experimental lot cultivated with the Sauvignon Blanc variety has a neutral pH, average humus, total nitrogen, and potassium, and a low phosphorus content. The soils in the vineyards located in the centre of Transylvania are poorly supplied with mobile phosphorus (8-24 ppm) and nitrogen (9-29 ppm) and have an average potassium content (120-237 ppm). Since the supply of macronutrients is low, the soils in the area require fertilization with organic matter and chemical fertilizers.
