This article describes how to implement task-based teaching to improve language learning in an upper-level ESP class for engineering students. It provides suggestions for making upper-level university English classes more interactive and interesting. It consists of speaking and writing tasks which are closely connected with real life. These tasks will allow students to develop their skills. There are various teaching methods: task-based activities, group and pair work problem solving, sharing personal experiences, comparing and contrasting, creative task and project. |
