Obiectul infracţiunii reprezintă unul din principalele elemente ale componenţei de infracţiune. În esenţă, anume prin intermediul obiectului infracţiunii pot fi identificate valorile şi relaţiile sociale care sunt prejudiciate prin comiterea unei infracţiuni. Conceptul de infracţiune cu caracter terorist este relativ nou pentru legislaţia penală a Republicii Moldova. Pentru prima dată noţiunea respectivă a fost prevăzută odată cu completarea Codului penal cu art. 13411, care conţine enumerarea infracţiunilor care sunt atribuite la categoria infracţiunilor cu caracter terorist. Una din particularităţile grupului respectiv de infracţiuni, comparativ cu alte grupuri de infracţiuni (ecologice, economice, militare etc.), constă în faptul că acestea fac parte din diferite Capitole ale Părţii speciale a Codului penal al Republicii Moldova, deci au diferite obiecte juridice. Astfel, din 17 componenţe de infracţiuni cu caracter terorist două fac parte din Capitolul I Infracţiuni contra păcii şi securităţii omenirii, infracţiuni de război; una face parte din Capitolul XII Infracţiuni în domeniul transporturilor; 12 – fac parte din Capitolul XIII Infracţiuni contra securităţii publice şi a ordinii publice; iar altele două – fac parte din Capitolul XVII Infracţiuni contra autorităţilor publice şi a securităţii de stat.

The object of a crime is considered one of the main elements of the corpus delicti (offense). In essence, the social values and relationships that are harmed by committing a crime can be identified through the object of the offense. The concept of an offense of terrorist character is relatively new for the criminal law of the Republic of Moldova. For the first time this notion was provided with the amendment of the Criminal Code with art. 13411, which lists the delicts that are attributed to the category of terrorist offenses. One of the peculiarities of the respective group of offenses, compared to other groups of crimes (ecological, economic, military etc.), is thaat they are part of different Chapters of the Special Part of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Moldova, so they have different legal objects. Thus, out of the 17 constitutions of terrorist offenses two belong to Chapter I – “Crimes against peace and security of mankind, war crimes”; one to Chapter XII – “Transport crimes”; 12 to Chapter XIII – “Crimes against public security and public order”; two to Chapter XVII – “Crimes against public authorities and state security”.
