У статті досліджуються особливості застосування методології у вивченні інформаційних відносин у прикордонній сфері. Визначено, що методологічне дослідження необхідне для пізнання об’єктивної дійсності цих відносин, а також створення теоретичного підґрунтя для вирішення практичних завдань у діяльності Державної прикордонної служби України. На основі аналізу філософсько-правових визначень методології пропонується авторське бачення методології дослідження інформаційних відносин у прикордонній сфері. Сформульована система методів характерна для дослідження інформаційних відносин у прикордонній сфері. Визначені особливості методологічного підходу до вивчення теоретичних засад інформаційних відносин у прикордонній сфері.

The article deals with the application peculiarities of the methodology for the study of information relations in the border sphere. It is determined that methodological research is necessary for the cognition of the objective reality of these relations as well as the creation of a theoretical basis for solving practical problems in the activities of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine with regard to information. On the basis of the analysis of the philosophical and legal definitions of the methodology, the author’s view of the methodology of information relations in the border sphere is presented. The formulated system of methods is characteristic for the object of scientific research in this article.
