У статті досліджуються вплив європейських правових норм на діяльність прокурора під час здійснення представництва прав громадян та інтересів держави в суді, виконання судових рішень, а також актуальність існування вказаної функції на сучасному етапі. Автор доходить висновку, що існування функції представництва в прокуратури нашої країни в сучасних умовах є цілком обґрунтованим і виправданим, що, зокрема, доводиться результатами багаторічної практичної діяльності із захисту прав громадян та інтересів держави в суді прокурором, під час виконання судових рішень. Більше того, така діяльність цілком відповідає європейським правовим традиціям захисту прав і свобод людини в країнах Європейського Союзу

The article examines the influence of European legal norms on the activities of the prosecutor in the implementation of the representation of the rights of citizens and the interests of the state in court, in the execution of court decisions, and also the relevance of the existence of this function at the present stage. The author comes to the conclusion that the existence of the function of representation at the prosecutor's office of our country in modern conditions is justified, which, in particular, is proved by the results of many years of practice by the prosecutor in protecting the rights of citizens and the interests of the state in court, in the execution of court decisions. Moreover, such activities are fully in line with European legal traditions of protection of human rights and freedoms in the European Union
