The given article presents a lexicographical comparative description of the pro-verbs based on the lexeme Friend in the English, German, Romanian and Russian languages. The author analyses its semantics and shows their semantic subgroups, underlining different types of relations between friends. The investigated proverbs show the mental pe-culiarities of different nationnalities, relations manifested in their perception of friendship. |
