Introduction: Imotile ciliary syndrome is attributed to rare diseases with autosomal-recursive genetic determinism, being detected at a frequency of 1: 15,000 to 1: 50,000. Aims: We present the clinical case of a frequently ill child with the development of irreversible changes in the bronchopulmonary. Results: The patient shows coughing, feverish syndrome, diffi cult nasal breathing, bilateral mucopurulent elimination, nocturnal snoring, nasal voice, headache, feeling full in the maxillary sinuses. The diagnosis of foreign body bronchial aspiration, cystic fi brosis, tbc infection was excluded. Conclusions: The child with frequent upper and lower respiratory worsening, the development of bronchopulmonary complications needs to be evaluated for possible genetic determinants such as ciliary dyskinesia. |
