Motivational involvement (to be attracted to / to intend to attain personal motivating goals) and motivational persistence (to persevere behaviorally and motivationally in the effort of achieving ambitious targets) represent two different stages of the motivational process, two distinct modules of the motivation (Constantin, 2008), if we analyze motivation in terms of Rubicon Model (Gollwitzer, 2000, 2001, Heckhausen & Heckhausen, 2008). Taking into account scientific data, we have developed a motivational model framework and two standardized questionnaire: one for motivational involvement evaluation (The Motivational Involvement Scale, Constantin et al. 2008) and the other for motivational persistence evaluation (The Motivational Persistence Scale; Constantin et al., 2011). We will present the motivational model framework and relevant data related to utility and validity of these scales, including data from the validation process of these scales in Republic of Moldova, on Romanian or Russian-speaking populations. |
