Статья посвящена анализу реализации контрольных полномочий комитетов парламента. Отмечено, что в основном контрольная функция комитетов заключается в: 1) анализе практики применения законодательных актов в деятельности государственных органов, их должностных лиц по вопросам, отнесенным к предметам ведения комитетов; 2) участии по поручению парламента в проведении «Дня Правительства Украины»; 3) контроле выполнения Государственного бюд-жета Украины в части, отнесенной к предметам их ведения; 4) организации и подготовке по поручению парламента парламентских слушаний; 5) организации и подготовке слушаний в комитетах; 6) подготовке и представлении на рас- смотрение парламента запросов к Президенту от комитета в соответствии с положениями п. 34 ч. 1 ст. 85 Конституции; 7) взаимодействии со Счетной палатой и Уполномоченным Верховной Рады Украины по правам человека. Особое внимание уделено организации и проведению слушаний в комитетах.

The article is devoted to the analysis of the implementation of the supervisory powers of the committees of Parliament. It was noted that, mainly, the control function of the committees consists in: 1) analyzing the practice of applying legislative acts in the activities of state bodies and their officials on issues related to the competence of the committees; 2) participation on behalf of the Parliament in holding the “Government Day of Ukraine”; 3) control over the implementation of the State Budget of Ukraine in the part related to the objects of their competence; 4) organization and preparation of parliamentary hearings on behalf of the Parliament; 5) organization and preparation of hearings in committees; 6) preparation and submission for consideration of the Parliament requests to the President from the committee in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 34 of Part 1 of Art. 85 of the Constitution; 7) interaction with the Accounts Chamber and the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. Particular attention is paid to the organization and conduct of hearings in the committees.
