Rezumat

Sexual health throughout the life is one of the current priorities for most countries because its condition affects all stages of life. An increased attention to this area is as important as for any other area. The government has to invest in the sex education in order to have a healthy population. The purpose of this article is to conduct a descriptive analysis of sexual health during the life by studying the concepts and describing each stage of life, and the identification of their specific sexual health issues. For the research were used the following data sources: NBS, WHO Mortality Database, TransMONEE and European Health for All database (HFA-DB). The obtained results show the whole picture of female sexual health. According to the available data a higher morbidity by sexually transmitted diseases was observed in the young population in the reproductive age than for the general population, and a higher mortality frequency caused by malignancies for more advanced ages.
