The paper provides information on the influence of different concentrations of 30 nm TiO2 nanoparticles on the multiplication of Saccharomyces cerevisiae CNMN-Y-20 yeast strain, cell biomass and protein, total carbohydrate, β-glucan contents. It was found that titanium dioxide nanoparticles in the studied concentrations, did not change the process of cell reproduction, biomass production, carbohydrate content at the studied yeast strain and insignificantly decreased the protein content. Enhancing of the β-glucans accumulation efficiency in the Saccharomyces cerevisiae CNMN-Y-20 yeast strain is produced on cultivation on the nutrient medium supplemented with titanium dioxide nanoparticles at concentrations of 10,0-15,0 mg/L. The identified properties of TiO2 nanoparticles highlight the perspective of their application in the yeast cultivation biotechnology and the production of polysaccharide components. |
