The topical problem approached in the article „Reflections on the evolution of young
performers on brass instruments at the Delphic Games” tackles certain recent cultural and artistic events which took place in Chisinau: the second edition of the Delphic Games for the Youth from the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and the 11th edition of the Municipal Competition for Children`s Brass Bands. Both the performance of the participants and the work of the juries are analysed in the present article. Not only the positive aspects of the activity of the juries are mentioned but the weak facets as well.
The article comprises a number of methodological recommendations necessary for the
improvement of the quality of future editions of these competitions. |
