This article contains a vast presentation of Vladimir Rotaru’ life and creation – one
of the leading personalities of the musical culture and pedagogy of contemporary Moldova. It also describes the importance of his creation of choral genre in the musical heritage. The uniqueness of the collection „ Note de Toamnă”( lyrics by George Bacovia) is remarkable in many aspects. Here we can mention the harmony between poetry and music, form and dramatic art, rhythm and modal harmony, as well as other particularities.
