Under the impact of multiple and profound changes at the social and, implicitly, educational level, as a result of the acute need to adequately address the diversity of school space,intercultural teacher training has become a necessary step. Going on the idea of respecting the principles of intercultural education, we need toconcern for the observance and valorisation of differences, ensuring equal opportunities in educationfor all students, overcoming ethnocentrism and accepting otherness. Often, educators, faced with diversity in the classroom, are prove to be insufficiently instrumental in managing it effectively. That is why, often prefer to ignore the differences between students. That they do not have enough knowledge and skills in the field of intercultural education is nothing more than a consequence natural lack of specialized training in this respect. |
