Each foreign language teacher works with some sets of working principles (hypotheses) in order to reach some consensus about the best way of teaching a foreign language. We, foreign language teachers research for the best methods of teaching foreign languages. The five principles given in this article outline general characteristics of a classroom environment which would be conductive to the achievement of all our goals. |
