Rezumat

The philosopher and semiologist Henri Van Lier (1921-2009) has not gained wide renown yet in the academic world. Although accepted by some researchers and criticized by the others, he passes for an extraordinary awakener of ideas at the current stage of the human cognition. Being the founder of the anthropogeny – the continuous formation of Homo as « état-moment d’univers » [tr. moment-state of the universe], the philosopher elaborates through his massive work a modern synthetic theory of the human evolution (rightly or wrongly called neo-Darwinism). Relying rather on the systematic than systemic exploration of the 4 elements – space, time, sign and presence – he foresees in the evolution of the pre-historic races and humankind a mandatory global order: world 1, world 2 and world 3. These three worlds might be summarized by way of the following words: within, before, along with. Thus, homo sapiens sapiens and his objects have their place first of all within the nature (world 1), then he is placed before its objects and the nature (world 2), and nowadays he has its place along with its objects (in a synergistical manner).  The philosopher himself considered the anthropogeny as “a missing foundation of the human sciences”, which fact is echoed in the current trends of the « troisième régime de science » [tr. “third-regime science”] (Demorgon). In his opinion, the combination of the opposites is indispensable for the comprehension of the Reality, since “the real world is inseparably human and mundane, inseparably emotional and cognitive. Or it can also be incomplete”. Against this background, we shall try to find out in the course of our research whether the anthropogeny of Henri Van Lier – centred on « l’animal signé » [tr. the signed animal], « les théories d’homo du fait de ses langages » [tr. the theories of homo based on his languages] and the « destins-partis d’existence » [tr. fate-countries of existence] – constitutes a new approach, a new theory and/or paradigm of the human language or such anthropogeny has the duty to “found” and/or supplement the current linguistic theories and paradigms.
