The prevention of the criminality represents the protection of people, society and state from the crimes. This social practice is rooted historically in the deepness of the centuries: at the sam e time with the appearance of the first criminal law interdictions, the measures of fighting and preventing them were put in action. The prevention of hostage – taking, as well as of the other offences, is a complicated issue, the solving of which should be performed not only in regard to the law problems, but also to the economical, social, psychological, organizational ones, etc. The issue of the criminality prevention was widely studied by the jurists during the centuries, though being a current problem nowadays too.
