Security studies appears as a distinct field of social knowledge, which is on the rise with its own field of analysis and with a specific investigative instrument. If and when this evolution is over, we will talk about a new science in the field of human knowledge - as from the legal sciences, they have disunited the political ones, from where then individualized the studies of international relations, so that the security studies now start from here on the path of a status of autonomy. For now, the only indisputable and consolidated status of security studies is the one of academic discipline - as undergraduate, master, or doctoral degree programs. Further, everything is experimenting: within or outside political science? along with international relations studies, or autonomously?; along with the military sciences (“strategic”, “defense”) or in their prolongation?
