Research Enhancement and a Better Scientific Staff Training in the Field of Information and Communication Technologies – a necessity in today’s times. The purpose of this article is to draw attention of the scientific community of the Republic of Moldova to the necessity of intensifying the research in the field of ICT and related areas, as well as to the training of a university degree personnel, including scientific staff, through doctorate and post doctorate, in the field of ICT, since this is a priority area, with deep implications for the development of science and of economy. Certain examples of the ICT development in the USA are brought. Science and innovation organizations and appropriate human resources are identified, which could be mobilized for that purpose in the Republic of Moldova. Systematic solutions for improving the situation have been proposed. |
