В статье рассмотрены институциональный механизм Европейского Союза, роль Комиссии Европейского Союза (ЕС) в регулировании интеграционных процессов в газовой сфере. Исследованы институциональный механизм Евросоюза в сфере природного газа, особенности которого определены на основе учредительных документов и актов вторичного права ЕС. Особое внимание уделено Комиссии ЕС, которая задействована в функционировании рынка природного газа. Автор анализирует Комиссию ЕС как институт, который выступает защитником интересов Союза в целом, а также полномочия Комиссии ЕС по обеспечению выполнения норм учредительных договоров в энергетической сфере.

The article examines the institutional mechanism of the European Union, the role of the Commission of the European Union (EU) in regulating the integration processes in the gas sector. The institutional mechanism of the European Union in the field of natural gas is investigated, the peculiarities of which are determined on the basis of constituent documents and acts of secondary law of the EU. Particular attention is paid to the EU Commission, which is involved in the functioning of the natural gas market. The author analyzes the EU Commission as an institution that advocates the interests of the Union as a whole, as well as the powers of the EU Commission to ensure compliance with the norms of constituent agreements in the energy sector.

Articolul descrie cadrul instituțional al Uniunii Europene, rolul Comisiei Europene (CE) în reglarea proceselor de integrare în sectorul gazelor naturale. Se investigează mecanismul instituțional al Uniunii Europene în domeniul gazelor naturale, ale cărui caracteristici sunt definite pe baza documentelor constitutive și a actelor de drept derivat al UE. O atenție deosebită este acordată Comisiei Europene, care este implicată în funcționarea pieței gazelor naturale. Autorul analizează Comisia Europeană ca instituție care servește interesele de apărare ale Uniunii în ansamblu, precum și competențele Comisiei UE pentru a asigura respectarea normelor tratatelor în sectorul energetic.
