Risk Factors of Inflammatory Rhinosinusal Process and Prognosis of Exacerbation of Chronic and Recurrent Paranasal Sinusitis in Children The aim of the study was to estimate the importance of various risk factors in the relapse of chronic or recurrent rhinosinusitis after surgical treatment in children. There were 120 children with chronic and recurrent paranasal sinusitis, operated using endoscopic technique. The most important risk factors of chronic and recurrent paranasal sinusitis of prenatal, intra and postnatal periods were studied. Elucidation of risk factors of recurrence of paranasal sinusitis in infancy has a major importance in preventing the disease in adults and adolescents. This will permit the earlier prediction of a possible relapse of symptomatology. Our results show that the most efficient measures of preventing and treatment of chronic or recurrent rhinosinusitis should take into consideration the severity of disease, history factors and the character of associated pathology

Факторы риска воспалительного процесса и прогнозирование рецидивов хронических риносинуситов у детей В данной статье обращается внимание на выявление разных факторов, которые могут прогнозировать возникновение рецидивирующих и хронических риносинуситов у детей. Под наблюдением находилось 120 детей с рецидивирующими и хроническими синуситами, у которых были произведены хирургические эндоскопические операции. Определены наиболее информативные факторы риска в анте-, интра- и постнатальном периодах, которые влияют на возникновение рецидивирующих воспалительных процессов околоносовых пазух. Выявление факторов риска играет значимую роль, так как большинство хронических болезней носа и околоносовых пазух у подростков и взрослых имеют начало в детском возрасте, что позволяет прогнозировать возникновение рецидивирующих и хронических воспалений.
