Rezumat

În articol sunt prezentate rezultatele cercetărilor orientate spre elucidarea influenţei stresului hipotermic asupra conţinutului de pigmenţi şi activităţii antioxidante la spirulină. Stresul hipotermic a fost indus în cultura staţionară prin expunerea biomasei de spirulină, aflată la diferite etape ale ciclului vital, la temperatura de 40C pentru o durată de 3 ore. Instalarea stresului a fost confirmată prin valorile crescute ale conţinutului de dialdehidă malonică. Parametrii monitorizaţi au fost următorii: conţinutul de β-caroten şi mixoxantofilă, puterea de reducere a fierului, capacitatea antioxidantă (test ABTS). Frecvenţa colectării probelor a fost de 1 oră din momentul expunerii spirulinei la temperatura de 4oC. Au fost evidenţiate modificări semnificative ale conţinutului de β-caroten şi mixoxantofilă, creşterea puterii de reducere a fierului şi scăderea activităţii antioxidante (test ABTS). Intensitatea şi direcţia modificărilor observate depind atât de vârsta fiziologică a culturii, cât şi de durata stresului hipotermic.

The aim of this study was to elucidate the influence of hypothermic stress on pigment content and antioxidant activity of spirulina. Hypothermic stress was induced in the stationary culture by exposing spirulina biomass at different growth stages at 40° C for 3 hours. The oxidative stress has been confirmed by the increased content of malone dialdehyde. The monitored parameters were as follows: β-carotene and myxoxanthophyll content, iron reduction power, antioxidant activity (ABTS test). The frequency of biomass collecting was 1 hour from the time of spirulina exposure to 4°C. Significant changes in β-carotene and myxoxanthophyll content, an increased iron reduction power and decreased antioxidant activity (ABTS test) were noted. The intensity and direction of observed changes depend on both the physiological age of the culture and the duration of the hypothermic stress.

В статье представлены результаты исследований направленных на выявление влияния гипотермического стресса на содержание пигментов и на антиоксидантную активность спирулины. Гипотермический стресс был индуцирован в стационарной культуре путем влияния на биомассу спирулины на разных этапах жизненного цикла низкой температуры (4°C) в течение 3 часов. Наличие стресса было подтверждено увеличением содержания малонового диальдегида. Также были определены следующие показатели: содержание β-каротина и миксоксантофилла, железо-редуцирующая способность и антиоксидантная активность биомассы. Замеры проводились с интервалом 1 час. Были выявлены значительные колебания содержания β-каротина и миксоксантофилла, рост железо-редуцирующей способности и снижение антиоксидантной активности биомассы (тест АBTS) спирулины в условиях гипотермического стресса.Интенсивность и вектор изменений зависит от физиологического возраста культуры и продолжительности стресса.
